The All-New Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid is landing at Pinkstones Toyota soon. The next evolution of the Toyota Iconic SUV builds on its previous success with a new look and upgraded technology.

The All-New Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid Is Arriving Soon

Demonstrators for the all-new sixth generation Toyota RAV4 are set to arrive soon, giving customers their first opportunity to experience the next evolution of Toyota’s iconic SUV up close. Building on more than 30 years of success, the latest RAV4 introduces bold new styling, upgraded hybrid technology and a completely redesigned digital experience, all while retaining the practicality and reliability that have made it one of the world’s best-selling SUVs.

The All-NewRAV4 brings major advancements in performance, efficiency and connectivity, including Toyota’s latest plug-in hybrid system capable of delivering up to 62 miles of electric-only driving. Alongside enhanced safety technologies and a new multimedia platform powered by Toyota’s advanced Arene software architecture, the SUV promises a more intuitive and refined driving experience. Available in both plug-in hybrid and full hybrid forms, the latest RAV4 is designed to offer customers greater flexibility while supporting Toyota’s move towards a carbon-neutral future.

Toyota’s latest plug-in hybrid technology takes efficiency and performance to an entirely new level in the All-New RAV4. A new 22.7kWh lithium-ion battery delivers an impressive electric-only driving range of up to 62 miles, allowing many drivers to complete their daily journeys using pure EV power alone. Charging is also faster and more convenient than ever before, with rapid DC charging capable of taking the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 30 minutes, while the upgraded 11kW AC charger significantly reduces charging times at home or on the move.
RAV
Performance has also seen a major boost, with the intelligent AWD system producing an impressive 300bhp and accelerating from 0-62mph in just 5.8 seconds. Toyota has also improved driving dynamics through a lower centre of gravity and enhanced body rigidity, helping the new RAV4 feel more responsive and composed on the road. Alongside the introduction of a front-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid model for the first time, Toyota continues to make electrified driving more accessible while maintaining the versatility and reliability customers expect from the RAV4.

The All-New RAV4 Model Range

Four equipment grades are available across the All-New RAV4 line-up at launch: Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport, each offering a distinct balance of style, technology and performance. The Arene software development platform ushers in a new era of software-defined mobility, underpinning the advanced safety and digital systems in the All-New RAV4 and supporting Toyota’s ambition of achieving zero road accidents. It enables the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite, which comes as standard and delivers faster, more intelligent responses across a wide range of driver assistance features. New additions such as Front Cross Traffic Alert help protect the vehicle at busy junctions by detecting oncoming traffic and issuing timely visual and audible warnings, while the enhanced Blind Spot Monitor now includes a Rear Vehicle Approach Indicator to improve motorway awareness. Lane Change Assist further supports safer overtaking by providing steering assistance when conditions are clear, working alongside Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist. The upgraded Pre-Collision System expands detection of vehicles, cyclists and motorbikes, applying braking assistance where necessary, while also introducing a Secondary Collision Brake to help bring the vehicle to a controlled stop after an impact. Parking is made easier with an improved Panoramic View Monitor featuring a 3D visual display, and over-the-air updates ensure Toyota Safety Sense continues to evolve with the latest enhancements over time.

The sixth generation RAV4 introduces a faster, more compact Toyota multimedia system that forms part of a wider digital ecosystem powered by Arene, delivering a seamless and highly connected in-car experience. Drivers benefit from enhanced clarity and usability through high-quality visuals, integrated Google Points of Interest, and real-time navigation information including speed camera alerts and Low Emission Zone (LEZ) notifications. The system is further enhanced by the integration of the navigation map with three-dimensional lane guidance in the 12.3-inch digital combimeter, helping reduce distraction and making directions easier to follow. A new 12.9-inch central home screen, designed with European customers in mind, brings key driving information together in a single, customisable view, featuring shortcuts, quick settings, and built-in privacy controls. A responsive voice assistant adds further convenience by controlling navigation, media, climate settings and vehicle functions, while continuous over-the-air updates ensure the system evolves over time. Beyond the vehicle itself, the MyToyota app extends this digital experience, offering personalised services such as remote functions, subscription-based features, a drive recorder and integrated music streaming.

The All-New Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid represents a major step forward in electrified SUV development, combining advanced plug-in hybrid performance, intelligent safety systems and a fully connected digital ecosystem. From its improved efficiency and driving dynamics to its enhanced multimedia experience and expanded driver assistance technologies powered by Arene, the latest RAV4 is designed to deliver greater confidence, convenience and capability.
